Additional Information

This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.

Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.

Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.

Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.

Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.

News

  • 1.The President, many Board Members and Guests represented Rogers Bay Family Campground at the Hearing last night. Bill South read a statement prepared by our attorney. The Town Alderman, Attorney and Mayor agreed that we have legal easements and right of ways. The property owner was granted a preliminary approval conditional on said easements remaining in place.

  • 2.We are actively working with our attorney in developing a strategy to appeal the tax increase. An update will follow.
Our tax bill has been increased and is reflected in the dues invoice for the next quarter. Any adjustment will be addressed after the appeal process is completed.

  • 3.All property owners are required to cut their water off at their water valve each time they leave the property for an extended period. Due to the large number of water line freezes and broken pipes, Board Member Billy Miller and Pam Vickers took a great deal of time locating all of the main water shut offs. We will be raising the shut offs so that they are easier to locate. If you do not know where your lot shut off is located, one of the staff or a board member will be happy to assist you in locating it.

  • 4.As per North Topsail Beach Board of Alderman (NTB Ordinance) every unit in Rogers Bay Family Campground must be road ready. Road Ready means current license plate tag displayed, good tires, chassis and hitch competent and in good working order. Per our agreement with NTB we complete biannual inspections of the units in the campground. We will be sending out letters with what needs to be corrected on each unit. NTB may issues fines or further penalties if these items are not corrected.

  • 5.Multiple members of the Board are currently working on getting the roads in shape for the season, please be patient its a work in progress.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the first Board Meeting on March 17th. Bill South, President
